Looking for stand-alone anime movies.

Alright, so I've been trying for ages to get my sisters to watch anime and it was slowly working. Up until they discovered TV series (Agents of Shield/Doctor Who/Jessica Jones/Daredevil/Community) and totally ditched Anime.Since I miss the times when we used to watch together, but trading TV series for anime time was not an option, I came up with the compromise of Movies. We often gather in the afternoon and watch a normal movie at home, or go to the cinema. It doesn't take much time yet still delivers on the anime aspect.The problem I'm having is that my own movie knowledge is quite lacking. I've only ever watched a few and all of them quite old.Any suggestions?EDIT: An oversight on my part not mentioning that me and both my sisters are adults and I'm the youngest. Moreover, they have quite different tastes. One of them likes old anime such as Inuyasha or Rose of Versailles. The other leans more towards SoL and comedy romance.
