How Hard Does Adlet Kick Hans in the Face During the Second Opening?

Well let's find out.I couldn't find details about how tall anyone in Rokka was, so I took the average height of a modern day European male (178cm) and used that for my calculations.Exhibit A(Line is slightly longer to account for the bent legs)This line is roughly 178cm, and it is exactly 610 pixels. So here we have our poor innocent Hans just chilling on his rock. Then SUDDENLY 3 FRAMES LATER THIS happens. The black line cutting off the red line leaves the red line to be 442px.442/610=0.72Multiply this by Adlet's total height, 178cm to get178*0.72=128.16cm.In other words, within 3 frames Adlet travels 178cm to kick Hans in the face. Now this is a 24 fps video, so3/24=0.125sNow you just divide the distance by the time to acquire Adlet's speed, and you get...128.16/0.125=1025.28cm/s OR 10.25m/s.Adlet is travelling at 10.25m/s aka 23mp/h before he makes contact with Hans' face.Exhibit BThis is a shot of poor Hans getting kicked and a line showing the distance he flew. This line is 610px long convenientally enough, so Hans flew 178cm within 5 frames here.5/24=0.208sDivide your distance by your time and you get your speed!178/0.208=855cm/s or 8.5m/s or 19mp/hNow to find how far off the ground Hans was sitting before he was so rudely interrupted, and you get this!. The line is 224px long.224/610=0.36178*0.36=64.08cmHans is sitting at about 64cm off the ground with his smug grin. Now to find the time Hans was in the air before he hit the ground we use the formula d=do +vo t+1/2(a)(t2 ). Where d is the total distance Hans flies, do is his original position, vo is his original position, t is time and a is acceleration (and in this case due to gravity.) Vo is 0 due to Hans just sitting at rest there, and assuming we're on Earth, gravity is -9.8m/s2.0=.64m+0m/st-4.9m(t)2Solve for t0.36sHans has an airtime of 0.36s. Now we multiply speed by time to find the total amount of distance that was covered.8.5m/s * 0.36s = 3.06m or 10 feet.SO IN CONCLUSIONIgnoring air resistance and assuming Adlet is the same height as the average European male, Adlet kicked Hans at roughly 10.25m/s or 23mp/h and Hans flew at about 8.5m/s or 19mp/h for 0.208s before falling to the ground for a total distance of around 3.06m or 10 feet.If I messed up any of my calculations, please tell me. http://ift.tt/1LHs3ZV
