The /r/Anime Podcast: Episode 1

Hey guys,After 4 months of nothing, I am pleased to announce that the 1st official episode of the /r/anime podcast is up. There have obviously some a lot of bumps a long the way.So, without further ado, here are the links:Episode 1 on YoutubeEpisode 1 on SoundcloudBonus Episode on Youtube (unedited)I will update this post with more information soon (have 2 assignments due within an hour).Edit 1: We have a (shitty and inactive) subreddit if anyone is interested: /r/animepodcast.Proper Edit:So as I mentioned, there have been quite a lot of bumps along the way. We expected, that when the majority of us had summer/winter break, that we'd have more time to record and edit stuff. This couldn't be further from correct. As the holiday came a long, a lot of us had even more commitments than before. So, finally, after 3 months of recording the "pilot episode", we were finally able to record the "1st episode". As you may have noticed, it has been 4 months since the release of the "pilot episode". As you may have already deduced, we ran into a lot of errors during the editing process. Several people had choppy audio recordings, and our editing guy (/u/7teenwriters) was probably the busiest of us all, with very little time to do the editing. Put two and two together, and we get a very difficult editing process. After about 3 weeks, the video editing guy (/u/urban287) finally had the edited/synched audio to work with. As you may have noticed, he was really busy as well, so after about 2 weeks discussing the video we concluded that there simply wasn't enough time to put anything interesting together. And now we're here.As for the next episode, we can't really make any promises on when it will be released yet. Hopefully the waiting period will be nowhere as near as long as the one now, but we have things we need to discuss along with several broken microphones, so I doubt we can get anything reasonable together soon.Anyway, feel free to tell us what you would like to see out of this podcast (other than the obvious quality stuff). Would you like us to be more lax, or more serious? Do you want to have a fancy video with it, or is the audio enough? Would you like to see the podcast uploaded to iTunes? What day would you like us to release on? We very much value your input and opinions, so please, tell us everything you can think of. http://ift.tt/1IwYo3g
