English OP and ED list. We've got Duran Duran. We've got Yes. We've got The Bangles. We even have the Backstreet Boys! Check out the list. If I'm missing any, I'd love to hear from you.

I asked people to list English OPs and EDs that aired in Japan, and you guys came through with a ton of shows. Went through it today to fix all the video links that were hit with copyright strikes. Figured it would be a good time to post again to see if anyone can come up with more suggestions. Any shows from the past couple seasons qualify? Any old ones we missed?OpeningsAnime (MAL)Song (Video)BandBeckHit in the USABeat CrusadersBerserkTell Me WhyPenpalsBlack LagoonRed FractionMELLBleachTonight, Tonight, TonightBeat CrusadersCowboy BebopTank! The SeatbeltsDanganRonpaNever Say NeverTKDz2bDeadman WonderlandOne ReasonFadeDeltora QuestIn This LifeDelta GoodremEden of the EastFalling DownOasisef: A Tale of MemoriesEuphoric FieldTENMON feat. Been looking for a good anime movie to watch? Then take a look at my Top 100 Anime films list!

Top 100 Stand Alone Anime Movies of All TimeIt's been more than a full year since I've last submitted my list to /r/anime, and I've been steadily updating it in the meanwhile. Imgur removed their upload limits a while back, and I decided to keep adding on to the list. I resubmit the list today because I hit a mile marker. There are now 200 films listed in the album if one includes the honorable mentions! There are films from every genre and time period, from the 60's straight up to 2016. I've ranked them from worst to best, but even the films ranked in the 100's are still well worth a watch. Even if you completely disagree with all my rankings, I hope this list still serves as a good resource to find quality stand-alone movies. The guidelines I follow for the list are pretty simple:Title must be a stand-alone film. Franchise movies aren't automatically disqualified, but movies that depend heavily on the preceding televisions series like Disappearance of Haruhi and End of Evangelion will not be included.Title must be included in the popular anime databases (e.g. anidb/myanimelist/etc). Easiest way for me to avoid the debate about what's actually "anime."Title must be feature length, approximately 40 minutes or longer. Shorts such as Cencoroll and Little Witch Academia will not be included.I've always loved movies, but they're not discussed very often outside of Ghibli or Satoshi Kon. Hope my list can spur some interest in all the other great movies that are out there.I'd welcome any comments or criticisms you have. How do my top 10 stack up against yours? Any surprise appearances or absences on the list? Suggestions for additions to the list are much appreciated as well. I'll continue to update the list as I find new worthy candidates, so be sure to check back. http://ift.tt/1SqBG1U

Anime Recommendation List... 50 Titles I think you should check out!

Anime Recommendation List V1.5I wanted to share a chart I created over a year ago. You may have seen it in the recommendation topic, but I haven't made a dedicated post for it on /r/anime yet. This is the 6th or 7th version of the list now and I'm getting closer and closer to my perfect mix. There are 50 titles in all from a wide variety of genres. There are titles from as recent as 2014 and as far back as 1978. The average year of release is around 2003, so it's a slightly older list. Dub availability is indicated by a red star (ping pong is missing its star). One a side note, you may notice that a lot of the more popular shows are missing that would normally be in a recommendation chart like this. I've actually been slowly trading out the bigger name shows like Steins;Gate and Code Geass for shows that you'll hopefully find equally enjoyable. I thought the list would be more useful if it were to showcase some of the lesser known anime. It still has a good mix of popular anime in it, but none of the ultra-popular anime that everyone has already seen.Anyway, the newest version of the list now includes Erin and Young Hanada. Hopefully some people will find this graphic helpful.List of former titles:AnoHanaBaccano!Barefoot GenBunny DropClannadCode GeassCowboy BebopFLCLFMA:BHGarden of WordsGhost in the Shell: SACGrave of the FirefliesMadoka MagicaMushishiMy Neighbor TotoroPrincess MononokeSteins;GateSummer WarsTekkon KinkreetWolf Children http://ift.tt/1KEanxf
