ImgurDeviantArtMost of you guys probably don't know this, but April 28th is Oreki's Houtarou's (unofficial) birthday! Although no official birthday information was released about any of the Hyouka characters, there were some hints about Oreki's birthday in the 5th volume of the light novel, which said that Oreki celebrated his 17th birthday on the last Saturday of April. Because the 5th volume occurs in 2001, this means that his birthday is April 28th and that he was born in 1984. So if you were to go off of the light novel timeline, Oreki would actually be 32 years old today. By the way, the 2001 is based off of the fact that the 2nd issue of the club anthology is dated 1968 and the club members state that 1968 was 32 years ago. This was said when they were first years. The 5th volume occurs in their second year, which puts the date at 2001 for the 5th volume. :) http://ift.tt/1rjFqg2
