So I've heard of this anime, and like most anime that turn out to be one of my favorites, I pushed it off. As a sports anime I was immediately put-off as I am NOT a sports person. But it got great reviews from people I tend to believe. I was not disappointed.Like many gems, Ping Pong has what sounds like a boring as fuck show. What makes this seemingly dull sport so great? Well everything. From characters to animation, to music to plot. It had the genius of the Tatami Galaxy (same director Masaaki Yuasa), and gave me the same pumped up feeling I got from watching Gurren Lagann. The pacing is flawless, at no point did I feel the show lost its footing. It was just a really great show.Highly recommend watched.
