Why do you rather watch anime than Western movies/series?

I was thinking about this for a while and was quite interested about the opinion from the people on /r/anime. So why do you prefer anime more than Western movies/series or do you watch both of them. Is there a specific reason or do you think the story in anime is just superior. Maybe you are just in it for the "plot" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). And if you think anime is in anyway superior than Western movies/series I would like an example for it, like Kimba the White Lion is better than the The Lion King. This example is pretty bad but you get the idea. I prefer anime because of the visuals, art and animation or anything in that direction. I prefer this more than actors or anything real life. The reason for this is because I am a big fan of art. I love to see beautiful visuals and animation and I think this is was makes anime so special. To see the different art styles every studio has(KyoAni, Ufotable, Shaft or Ghibli) or something unique, for example The Tatami Galaxy Just simply makes my day. TL;DR Its ART damn it, ART!! http://ift.tt/1OKhyeB
