Granted this doesn't mean it's mega unpopular and nobody's ever seen it, but I do think it deserves more publicity than it has. Seeing as I can't think of any reason that this show has failed in the west (not sure how it did back in Japan) I've just assumed it's due to bad or lack of promotion. Regardless I'm going to try and convince you to watch the show or at least give it a shot.Story: A boy enrolls in a private school and hears rumours of a ghost in the old building. He goes on a stroll and meets the ghost, but instead of her being a terrifying demon that most people imagine ghosts to be she's a beautiful tall slender highschool girl that he ends up falling in love with. Then they spend a few episodes trying to help her recover her past (she has amnesia) and figure out how and why she died.It's a pretty original concept although granted the idea of 2 loners falling in love isn't exactly original (Oregairu, Hyouka, My Little Monster, Toradora, etc.) the twist of the main girl being a fucking hundred year old ghost definitely makes it more compelling.The show has a serious tone but touches of humour help lighten up the rather dark theme of the show and helps keep you entertained.Overall It's a well done romance with original concepts and a lot more depth than one would think. http://ift.tt/1O3q3mo
