MALWT!Clannad is know very widely to be one of the saddest anime out there, so I found it strange that I couldn't find any major re-watch to put in my personal review excel sheet. With such good direction, being an older series, and the fact that one doesn't exist for it already, Clannad is prime for a re-watch.A quick summary for those who have never seen the show before:The show is split into two seasons, Clannad and Clannad: after story. Clannad is a typical high school rom-com with slight harem themes. After story is why Clannad is notable, because while the whole series has pretty good facial animation, decent comedy, and high polish, it doesn't have much emotional payoff until after story. After story has been known to place people in a pit of depression for weeks.
