(it's been a while since we had one of these)as early as 1966's seminal mahou shoujo title Sally the Witch, anime has had all kinds of transformations sequences across all sorts of genres for all sorts of effects, whether it's done for a tongue-in-cheek gag or to release heightened tension. it's one of those mainstays that's become a major player in the medium for mostly good reason, and can be a ton of fun when done right.what are your favorite transformation sequences? what made you love those above all others?
