Hey everyone!Just a friendly reminder that the UC Gundam rewatch will be starting up this time tomorrow, beginning with Mobile Suit Gundam 0079.We will be watching an episode a day, starting on the third of January and continuing onwards til the 19th of February. 5-7 days after that (which will be confirmed at a later date) we'll be starting up Zeta Gundam. the full schedule can be found here!These are the dates for the compilation films:Mobile Suit Gundam I - January 16th (covers episodes 1-13)Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow - February 3rd (covers episodes 14-30)Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space - February 18th (covers episodes 31-43)Threads will go up at 4 PM EST (9 PM GMT).On one last note, I want to make sure this remains a fun space to hang out in since, as one user put it, going through UC Gundam is less of a sprint and more of a marathon, so I'll be trying some stuff with the main text body to keep things fresh over the long haul. If you have examples of awesome custom gunpla you've seen, some cool fanart, interesting trivia, or general ideas for like a weekly column, shoot me a message and I'll feature it and credit you accordingly! The series can sell itself based on its own merits and the excellency of its writing/direction, but I'd like for this project to be as interactive and engaging as it can be.And, to commemorate the start of this journey, I'll be doing a special something tomorrow.
