You're one of the most helpful subreddits I've ever visited! But how do you stay so up to date on decades worth of anime?

Every time I've posted or searched the sub there's been a flood of helpful responses, suggestions, and genuine interest in the thread. It's like being a kid in a candy store. Or meeting people at an anime convention, except 24/7.How does everyone keep up to date on all the anime genres?Is there an email list, magazine, or YouTube channel I should be sub'd to? Every time I visit I feel so out of the loop and at the same time so excited to see new stuff.
